Exhibit
Nature bases Art show located at Franklin Cultural Arts Center at 9151 W. Loomis Road, Franklin WI.
The Franklin Cultural Arts Center, The Friends of the Franklin Public Library and The Milwaukee Area Land Conservancy have joined their collective talents and resources to present Wildscapes, an exhibit of art celebrating the beauty of the natural world by local artists to the Franklin Public Library.
Sponsored by the Harley-Davidson Foundation, the exhibit, is free to the public during normal library hours. Wildscapes opens on Friday May 18th and runs through the 26th.
A reception with the exhibiting artists will be held on Friday May 18th at 6:30 pm at the Library. Music will be provided by local pianist Laurie Lynn Mentzer. Appetizers and desserts will be prepared by Sharron Holden. Tickets for the reception can be purchased for $15.00 at the Franklin Public Library located at 9151 W. Loomis Road in Franklin or on line at www.franklinculturalcenter.org or by calling 414-525-0009.
A silent auction of works donated by the artist will be held throughout the run of the exhibit. Proceeds help the presenting organizations continue their respective programs and services.
Help support the local arts and the presenting organizations by attending the opening night reception or the exhibit.
July 14th: Wisconsin Lutheran College Fine Art Fair
9-5 P.M. 8800 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa WI. Located in the court yard of the College
Music All Day, bring the kids this is a family event. Kids from Wisconsin will be singing.
July 19th-22nd Festa Italiana Fine Art Exhibition.
11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. Artists of Italian descent will we be showing our works of Art at the Summer Fest grounds Thursday-Sunday
Stop by and see the 2nd limited edition plate created by me for this event along with other works of art.
This year we celebrate the Region of Calabria
The International Clown Hall of Fame will be joining us this year.
We are also working on a Dance off with the Italian and the Irish Dancers
